Bucknell University Hockey
On Friday, the Bison faced off against Millersville University. It was a very tight game with the teams trading off goals throughout the contest. In the end, Bucknell emerged victorious with a 6-5 win, aided by two goals from sophomore Andrew Fried. The win was the first of freshman goalie Marty Jackson's collegiate career.
The next day the Bison played Franklin and Marshall College, beating them 11-1. The team was lead by senior Alex Rascoe, who had a hat trick. After these two wins, Bucknell improved its record to 13-2-1 on the season and remained in first place in the GNCHC. With only two games left on the schedule, the team is close to locking up one of the top two spots in the conference and securing a first round bye in the playoffs.
The team would also like to pay tribute to Chaz Sholley. He was our biggest fan and came to every single one of our games. Thank you Chaz for all the support you gave us, we truly appreciated it. Rest in peace.
